Burial Crypts
Probably one of Rose Hill's
best kept secrets is that of the burial crypts located in the Lakeside
Terraces/Magnolia Ridge sections. These crypts were literally built into
the side of the hill with stone and brick façades at the entrances to the
crypts. They are only accessible via a long descending staircase located close
to the Ambrose Baber monument. The Washington, Ziegler, and Adams-Flanders
families are buried in these crypts.
