Peter James Bracken
(1833-1862)
Peter James Bracken is the
famous railroad engineer who was involved in the "Great Locomotive
Chase" on the Western and Atlantic RR on April 12, 1862. His
locomotive, the "Texas", was used in the pursuit of the
"General" which had been commandeered by Union spies. You can
